What happens if I change my WiFi password? +
A WiFi QR code encodes the key directly: if you change the password, regenerate the QR and reprint it. For a setup that changes often, a dynamic QR pointing to a welcome page is more flexible.
Is it safe to display a WiFi QR code? +
The QR contains the same information you would give out loud. Display it for your “guest” network rather than your internal network to keep access separate.
